Global Horizons. Also this year INVIDEO, International Exhibition of Video and Cinema Beyond, comes back to Milan from 29th October to 9th November with screenings, previews, meetings and masterclasses. In this edition INVIDEO's programme will be divided in subject areas, creating for and indicating to his public visual paths: worlds, metamorphosis, rhythms, emergencies, poetry, parentage, portraits, festival, collections, schools.

This edition brings to mind the definition by McLuhan: the world as a “global village”. But modifies it, indicating the profile of the horizon just as the gaze that perceives it and creates it. Indeed, all the 34 videos of the INTERNATIONAL SELECTION, many classes and meetings are planned presented here, with the events and meetings, do trace out global horizons: Gérard Courant's Cinématons; Alda Merini portrayed by Antonietta De Lillo and the installation Sogni Capovolti in the memory of the bomb in Brescia by IED; XY, the homage to Franco Donatoni's music with Enrico Intra and the Festival FUSO in Lisbon; Giuliano Scabia's cinepoetry and Chiara Cremaschi's work on memory; the homages to Alberto Signetto with his film Architetture olivettiane ad Ivrea and the projection of Sympathy for Red Rhino,Italia 2014, 26' by Marilena Moretti; the videomapping by URBANSCREEN; a meeting with Mihai Grecu; Händel’s Messiah in images, by Erich Busslinger. Recent works from many different countries, artists, schools, festivals and cultural centres: a fertile confrontation which goes from examining the history of audiovisual research in depth to the enhancement projects of the archives to the problems of restoration to the comparison between arts and generations.

And also Under 35 Prize will be given to a talented author of the International selection as incentive to creativity.

The whole festival will be reported by Milano Film Network's Daily Invideo, with videos, photos and interviews to Invideo's guests.

Invideo this year is also for children and students with the two animation's labs VIDEO-TRUCCHI and the matinée ORIZZONTI DIGITALI for high schools.
