LOVE IS ALL. PIERGIORGIO WELBY, AUTORITRATTO

Between videoart, animation, in a journey through many arts, Love is All tells the story of a man who at the same time tells his story, Piergiorgio Welby, who in 2006, forced to immobility on breathing apparatus and a synthetic voice, asked the President of Italy to be able to die. Love is All tells the story of that man, with a wealth of writings, narrations, poems, paintings and photographic experimentation by Welby himself, but also with archive footage, animation, images from video installations which preceded the documentary, and visual elaborations.

Francesco Andreotti (Pisa, 1979) and Livia Giunti (Livorno,1977) were educated at the University of Pisa, with which they still work for various activities and for many years have been making videos, with particular attention for documentaries. In Pisa they have founded Santifanti Film and they are the co-founders of the magazine “Quaderno del Cinemareale”.
