Peruvian videoart curated by Angie Bonino and José-Carlos Mariátegui
INVIDEO presents for the first time a selection of Peruvian videoart, with recent and very recent works with different approaches, themes and styles, curated by two leading figures on the artistic, technological and cultural scene of that country.
José-Carlos Mariátegui (Lima, 1975), scientific and economic studies in Lima and London, he founded ATA- Alta Tecnología Andina, dedicated to developing projects in the field of art, science and technology. Curator of initiatives and exhibitions, he has worked with Gianni Toti and published a number of books.
Angie Bonino (Lima, 1974),after studying Fine Arts in Lima, she was director of the VIDEOAKT Biennal in Barcelona and Berlin from 2008 to 2015. A multidisciplinary artist, with many works and many exhibitions to her name, she teaches at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes ENSABAP, Lima.
