Céos | Phéobé
David Rodes, Francia/France, 2015, 13'
The Jury of the Under 35 Prize for young authors, composed by Alessia Barzaghi, Romano Fattorossi, Sandra Lischi, Elena Marcheschi, Annamaria Materazzini, awarded the prize to Céos | Phéobé by David Rodes (France, 2015, 13').
The work is set in a mysterious landscape where two characters, a man and a woman, speak an incomprehensible language but rich in recognizable echoes: an experimental and original story, crossed by mysterious gestures and light metamorphosis of space and time, between flashes of light and threatening atmospheres which corresponds to a disturbing sound concept.
The result is an experimental work that carried out at different levels of expression, which all converge in an unique and complete point of view. An author of surprising stylistic maturity - despite his young age - and we wait with great interest his forthcoming works.
