Cartoons in the Hospital Ward

A workshop experience with hospitalized children who create short audiovisuals using different animation techniques. The initiative comes from the Associazione Avisco-audiovisivo scolastico, in collaboration with the Ospedale dei Bambini in Brescia and other bodies: the experience lasted from 2012 to 2014 (and is continuing, gathering new inspiration and new collaborators), with the Avisco team coming into contact with a great many young patients and accompanying them in creating and learning the appropriate techniques, producing 18 works.

The INVIDEO selection includes a selection of the works produced and an encounter with Vincenzo Beschi, Silvia Palermo and Irene Tedeschi, as well as the backstage, showing the method and procedures.
