FUSO Festival, Lisbon
As part of our constant exploration of the most important international festivals, this year INVIDEO presents “FUSO - anual de Videoarte internacional de Lisboa”, a fascinating exhibition of videoart held every year (since 2009) at the end of August. It takes place in the open air, in the evenings, in museum gardens and open spaces or in other special places in Lisbon, with the spectators stretched out in comfortable deckchairs. The selection was made by the director of FUSO, António Câmara Manuel, and by Jean-François Chougnet, who launched and supports the Festival as well as being a close collaborator. This selection exhibits nine videos of young Portuguese artists, winners of FUSO OPEN CALL over the last four years.
