Chiara Cremaschi’s “Undesirables”

INVIDEO continues its acknowledgement of independent and experimental female productions, with the presentation of Chiara Cremaschi, an author who has always maintained a personal perspective in her exploration of female (but not only) circumstances and figures. She also looks to History with a capital “H”. A short film released in 1997 is presented here and a successfully anomalous documentary of 2010.

Chiara Cremaschi (Bergamo, 1968) has been active in the world of the cinema since 1990. She is a scriptwriter, screenwriter and filmmaker. Her works include Parole per dirlo, 1997; Dolce attesa, 1999; Quella cosa incredibile da farsi, 2003; Indesiderabili, 2010: all works about women or stories, autobiographical or historical, concerned with female issues. She has just completed her work on a family history, Senza di voi- ceci n'est pas une fuite. She lives in Paris.
