FOCUS ON SCHOOLS: ENSAD

Traditionally, in its annual selection INVIDEO keeps a particularly careful eye on works by young filmmakers and the activity carried on by cinema and video schools or those that include in their programmes sections on audiovisual production. This year it is the turn of the French ENSAD, “École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs”, in Paris, a state institution of higher education, under the Ministry of Culture and Communication.

The works presented are selected from the 2012 output of the School’s «Cinema Animation» sector and reveal an original and free approach to audiovisual creation, making use of its various techniques: effects, optical distortion, drawing and animated graffiti, painting on various supports, stop-motion.
